PassWear for Good is strong, usable two-factor authentication for mobile applications that is as easy and simple as taking a photo. PassWear provides an authentication and proximity solution for mobile apps that replaces passwords or adds a second security factor by using a wearable smartwatch. Users complete a simple 3-step enrolment process to get PassWear for Good provisioned on the wearable and mobile device. After provisioning, each time PassWear for Good communicates via the Bluetooth and optical channels it does so with a unique one-time key. Once provisioned and set-up, tap on your Good Dynamics mobile application. PassWear for Good will send a unique challenge to the wearable across Bluetooth. The wearable device then responds to this challenge by displaying a unique QR code. PassWear for Good launches the camera on your mobile so that you are instantly ready to scan the code. Simply take a photo of the QR code on the wearable and as long as there is a match you are logged in. All of that takes seconds. Serious security made simple.

Note that the Samsung Galaxy Gear (Tizen) app must be downloaded separately from the Samsung Gear Appstore. To install it search for PassWear in the store from your Samsung phone.
